Weather Conditions in Oradea and Romania

The weather in Romania goes from very cold winters to very hot summers. Yet each season has it's distinct charm and no matter what the weather is like, there is always something interesting to do. In winter students go skiing and snowboarding in any of Romanias numerous ski resorts. Oradea has 2 ski locations within 30 minutes distance by car. There is even a ski slope just 15min away for beginners. In summer students relax and tan on the river banks or go to Constanta for holiday at the Black Sea.

Romania has a temperate climate with four distinct seasons. Spring and autumn are cool and pleasant, making May and June, and September and October the best months to visit. Summers are hot from July to August and winters are harsh and very cold between December and March, with snow falling throughout most of the country. Spring and summer are the wettest seasons, but rain can be expected throughout the year.
