I was extremely anxious about leaving home for the first time to go to a foreign medical university and so were my parents. I just turned 18 and had never been overseas. Fortunately Mrs Moodley from MSA had given me all the necessary info on getting to Romania and I was relieved to find someone with a my name on a board waiting for me in Bucharest. "Oradea is an excellent city with the most beautiful women I have ever come across in my life. The city has an amazing feel to it...not too big, yet not too small. Oradea University is more or less what I expected. The faculty buildings are old in comparison to our universities back home, but I am grateful for getting a seat here especially because when I qualify, Romania will be part of the E. U. Medical Student Advisors were very helpful.
